I won't tell you how I feel,
after all this time
that I've been away.
I know I will never experience what the future holds
and as my head surely rests on disbelief and anxiety,
I fear the present and all the things it reflects,
my mistakes and my true personality.
Everything before today is a self-inflicted nostalgia, longing to be cured.
Tomorrow is the distant future and I can't bear the crushing thoughts
of being away and missing out on an entire life.

Everything that I existed for, was taken away,
Everything that I wanted, was neglected.
A loop of despair became my routine.
Pave me the road to my only hope,
out of the solitude,
as I'm not strong enough to build it myself
I won't do anything and that's everything that's wrong with me.
Sympathy won't be enough for the helpless.
Hope won't be enough for the hopeless.
I need to be taken the right way, as I won't make it alone
